In this article a psychologist explains the best ways how to avoid stress on Christmas.
His recommendations are, reducing expectations, time pressure and avoiding sensitive topics like politics. Inviting friends can ease the atmosphere.
After discussing the topic and size of the graphic with the journalist and the layouter, I was free in finding the style and the color palette.
The sketch was done on the iPad in Procreate.
The graphic was created in one working day about 8 hours.
I integrated my parents and me (as a small girl :) into the illustration, because the article suits us - we often had chaotic Christmas.
